Glide through the emerald backwaters of Mankombu on a traditional houseboat to spot local wildlife and village life along the shores. Farmers markets showcase Kerala's famous rice varieties, while nearby Pathiramanal Island offers birdwatching opportunities for nature enthusiasts.
I’ve been to India a dozen times and this is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Do yourself a favor and book this trip as soon as you can. I’m not kidding. It’s bucket list stuff.

A descent stay of 24 hours with cordial crew members and the local delicacies made our day in marvel cruise. There are lot of local boats to catch up but Mravel cruise stands apart in the claealiness and service.

There are pros and cons with this place.
Pros:
Pretty location, right on the water.
Very good breakfast selection.
Spacious room and bathroom.
Private terrace area.
Meals available throughout the day.
Charming and helpful restaurant staff.
Cons:
They took our luggage to the wrong room, but no one knew which room for about an hour.
The two ‘reception’ women were pretty, but pretty useless (very limited English).
None of the staff appeared to communicate with each other.
Thin walls...
