Wonderful property on Carbon Beach

Excellent hotel! We were upgraded to a suite, which was stunning! The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. We stayed at 6 hotels on our family California trip this was the only one that measured up to the images on expedia. The hotel is near busy roads but we couldn't hear a thing in our room despite the suite having at least six large windows and wrapping round the side of the building.

Friendly staff with great room and breakfast

We spent 5 nights at the hotel, which lived up to expectation. The room was beautifully decorated with a comfortable four poster bed. We could not fault the staff who were welcoming & attentive. The bar & restaurants were excellent, the food was of a high quality and live music was played most nights of our stay. Yes my beech view was excellent. The bar and restaurant was good, not excellent as the service provided could have been more responsive.

Great hotel with large suites. Only drawback is poor descriptions of suite types. We would have liked a room with a view, but were at the back of the hotel and the small balcony was facing the apartment building behind. Its a converted apartment building with room access from an open courtyard with central pool. As all rooms are slightly different, they don't all have desks, so I ended up working on laptop balanced on a pile of books because no rooms with desks available. Annoying for a business...

Brilliant stay, the room was clean, tidy and provided with a coffee machine, safe and all the bits you could want for a comfortable stay. The shower was amazing. The balcony and view was a great addition, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back to stay again

Great hotel close to the beach

Great location for the beach and pier and downtown Santa Monica. The beach package of towels, boogie boards, chairs and umbrella was great, we had so much fun playing in the waves. Pool was lovely, only gripe was that the lounge chairs are situated too close the the pool, which meant we got a lot of side eye and tutting when the kids splashed whilst swimming. Very unusual place to stay which I would highly recommend. Wonderful location with amazing scenery. Good sat nav will take you to the door. Great breakfast, nice staff!
