"We had a great 3 night stay in Borgo Marino Plemmirio! Nice rooms with airconditioning and decent kitchen. The swimming pool is very nice with see views and even the Etna in the background! Very close to this somewhat isolated location is a fantastic little beach (Spiaggia Massolivieri). It is the nicest beach we have been to in Italy! Also the old town of Syracusa is a must-go-to."

"We felt like we were in a grand old European hotel. It is not the most shiny lodging but that adds to the charm. The rooms were very large, the beds were very comfortable. The location is terrific. An easy walk to the Ortigia Island where we could enjoy the narrow and charming streets, and the variety of restaurants and shops, but we were able to park right next to the hotel. The breakfast was ample and provided a good variety of food. A great place for visiting Siracusa."
