The room was clean and roomy and the breakfast had a lot of choices, but what impressed me the most was the service especially when I called the hotel when my rental car broke down two hours away and they arranged for a car to pick me up. That is service above and beyond.

Our stay was amazing. The hotel is conveniently located close to Syracuse and close from the beach and excellent restaurants. The rooms are comfortable the surrounding is beautiful. The food is exquisite and above all the staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

All good but

everything was good and Leila at the reception was so nice and helpful. I booked a 3 bed room but got 2 single beds (room 122 as far as I remember, next to the reception) and the toilet does not flush properly. all in all, I'm happy with this hotel.

The hotel itself is nice, relaxing resort feel. It is next to a lounge/restaurant and they had a party until late night and the hotel walls were paper thin so we heard the loud party throughout the night. Driving instructions are provided to get to the property but it is far from anything else especially food options. But otherwise the hotel is nice.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno di notti per 2 davvero piacevole al Kalaonda Resort, immerso in un contesto tranquillo e rilassante, ideale per chi cerca relax e buona qualità lontano dal caos di Siracusa/Ortigia. La struttura è ben curata, con spazi verdi ordinati e una piscina pulita e accessibile 9-19, perfetta per rinfrescarsi durante le ore più calde. Grandezza giusta per ospitare 20 persone a mollo con ognuno il proprio spazio. Un grande punto di forza è senza dubbio la cordialità, la disponibilità e la gentilezza del personale, sempre pronto a venire incontro alle esigenze degli ospiti con il sorriso. In particolare, ci teniamo a fare una menzione speciale a Corrado, la cui simpatia e accoglienza hanno reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. La colazione è ottima e completa, con un’ampia scelta tra dolce e salato. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo, considerata la location, i servizi offerti e una posizione di 8 km da Ortigia e 1/2 dai vari lidi del Plemmirio. Consigliamo vivamente questo resort a chi cerca un luogo accogliente, tranquillo e gestito da persone che mettono davvero il cuore in quello che fanno. Non so se torneremo in quanto a noi piace girare e cambiare ma sicuramente lo consigliamo!

Kalaonda Resort

Si tratta di una bella struttura vicino a Siracusa , è un pò distante dal mare ma non accessibile dalla struttura ne ricompreso nei loro servizi. Vi è una discreta piscina disponibile con lettini , sdraio e ombrelloni e un Bar vicino alla piscina. Le stanze sono tutte a piano terra e sono climatizzate. Vi e poi una sala colazione e ristorante. La struttura ha un parcheggio all’aperto. Aspetti negativi: la struttura non ha una macchina per il caffè espresso tipica dei bar, ma solo un distributore automatico di bevande calde; i bagni delle stanze sono accessibili da porte in vetro trasparente prive di chiusura …che non garantiscono privacy e anche se la struttura accetta gli animali richiede un supplemento.

Vår vistelse var mycket bra! Trevlig pool och all personal var väldigt trevliga och service-minded. Ett bemötande i toppklass. Boendet var bekvämt men passar bäst med tillgång till bil. Städning helt utan anmärkning. Frukosten klart över förväntan och det fanns något som passade alla.

Das war nach einigen sehr zentral gelegenen Unterkünften in Catania, Agrigento, Palermo und Taormina mal eine sehr willkommene, entspannte Alternative. Die ganze Anlage und die angenehm verteilten und großzügig dimensionierten Apartments haben wirklich Charme! Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze, die Wege sind kurz und das Empfangs-/Servicepersonal ist wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Besonders gefallen uns das Frühstück, das im Vergleich mit den sechs anderen Unterkünften das deutlich reichhaltigste war. Zudem schön präsentiert in einem ebenso schönen Raum. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Resort definitiv nochmal buchen!
