Really helpful reception staff. Great location Lovely breakfasr

Booked on the strength of other reviews - and they weren’t wrong. B&B Porta Marina is a brilliant place to stay for exploring Ortigia, with a warm welcome from an excellent host who gave us invaluable & interesting information for our trip. Great breakfast too; recommended.

A good place to stay, 200 metres from the bridge to Syracuse, so you don’t need to worry about driving on the island. Comfortable and clean. No onsite parking though, despite what the listing says (currently) although there is free street parking not far away. It’s ok to stop outside and unload. We stayed during Covid times so not as busy as it could have been.

We had a great stay! The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Alessandro was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and always available to help whenever we needed anything. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

Fabulous B&B. Anna the host is friendly and welcoming and speaks excellent English. Perfect location just across the bridge to Ortiga. Lovely rooms, excellent breakfast. Mini fridge with free bottled water was provided in the room and communal area where you could help yourself to snacks, tea and coffee. Anna provided info on Ortiga and restaurant recommendations which were great. Only 3 rooms, if you see them available snap them up. Very good value. Lovely spot for gelato, granita, coffee and...

Room was spacious with attractive decor. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This property is a gem. The host is very welcoming and has a wealth of information about the best places to eat and visits. The rooms are simple but very clean. Ideal location central to main tourist sites but not noisy. Strongly recommend.

The menu was fresh but was also quite minimum. We were happy with it. We would happily recommend living with Salvo for visiting Syracuse. The location is well located in the city in a quiet neighbourhood, importantly it feels safe.

Very good B&B, clean, located near the centre. Very friendly staff!

The room was clean, good location. Has AC.

A great, cozy place. Extremely clean. Delicious and fresh continental breakfast. Staff (Valentino and Clara) are so so friendly and very accommodating, plenty of information was provided about what to do and where to go, which the area near this apartment has plenty. The beach umbrellas availability is a big plus. Definitely recommend and would definitely go back to stay again. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Good service

Property nice and modern, breakfast across the street nice. Walkable to Ortigia about 20 mins. Area around apartment very residential. All good.
