"My stay at Church End Cottage was absolutely fabulous I have to say that. A very cozy stay in this garden house place which I found to have very pleasant window views as well as a very clean and tidy interior. Absolutely a place I'd go back any time as well as happy to recommend it to anyone which likes rather rural and remote bed and breakfast stays. Speaking of breakfast, that was amazing, all home made. Just a gem!"

We had a lovely one-night stay at House 41 while visiting Aylesbury Theatre. The room was spotless, warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to relax after our evening out.
Helen, the owner, was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and the perfect start to the day.
We couldn’t fault our stay and would highly recommend House 41 to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We would definitely return if we’re in the...

Lovely pub with fantastic food.
Breakfast was just as good.
Annex building with farm/field view.
I travel a lot for my work but hate the giant corporate places. Your money is better spent in the community you’re working in. Definitely be going back.

An absolutely great little place, perfect for my needs
The owner greeted me on my arrival and showed me to my little room which was clean and well maintained.
Breakfast in the main house was fresh and there was plenty of it.
I would definately recommend staying and I dare say I will be back.
The only little niggle was the tv remote was grubby but that’s the only thing I can pick.

A very comfortable country pub, with great food, top chef and well kept beer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
My room was a tad small and basic but the bathroom was modern and hey this is a 16th century building and I enjoyed my stay.

Lovely comfy rooms set behind the pub in the old town of Hemel Hempstead. The wonderful friendly staff made me feel so welcome and really looked after me, making me breakfast sandwiches when I had no time for breakfast. Great food. Excellent shower in bathroom!

The owner - Jasmine - was wonderful and couldn't do enough to help, she was kind, friendly, supportive and easy going. Her breakfast was perfect and she really made us welcome; will definitely be staying again and looking forward to it. The property is also close to Arnos Grove station (about 5-10 mins walk) and within Zone 4/5, so really easy to get to.
The place is spotlessly clean and just gorgeous. Definitely coming back - thank you.

Really good hotel, food - evening meal and breakfast very good with excellent personal friendly service.
Although in old town centre, the bar area has a real country inn type atmosphere.

Excellent location for travelling by tube into central London. Very helpful staff. Bonus points for Aldi and Tesco nearby!
We didn't make use of the bar or breakfast option so can't comment, but breakfast did smell very nice! Parking was easy. Would use again.
