"Loved the view and the pool but the room wasn’t clean but staff got right on it. They have nicer rooms but for the price of mine I guess the lack of maintenance is to be expected. All the staff was lovely. I would stay here again just for the sunsets"

"Room was good, slightly on the small side but was a basic room. Comfortable beds. The bathroom is a wet room so the water got on the toilet but otherwise fine. Good pool that is not busy. Quite relaxing. No lift - we were on second floor with luggage. Friendly staff and close to the beach and main road with shops. "

"Not sure why so bad reviews. I enjoyed my stay here - I knew what I was getting myself into. You are in the prime location one min from the beach. Good, clean, spacious rooms with a balcony view towards the ocean. You are facing the parking lot, not exactly ocean front, but still have a pretty good view. Staff was nice and accommodating. Female staff very generous in offering oranges. My stay included a free cocktail for two on the second floor bar, and breakfast vouchers at old town coffee. I ate the best bingsu at the ice cream shop down the street. Best location from all bars and restaurants and two fire shows. For a 3 star hotel - full marks for me. You want luxury find a 4 or 5 star. "

"This hotel has a fantastic location right across the street from the center of the main beach. Rooms are basic but clean. Right next to a small local mall with a lot of decent restaurants and some drug stores. Only drawback is it gets noisy at night sometime, although it all dies off by around midnight. Definitely easy to recommend to those who want a good location at a reasonable price. Cheers all."

"5 star place! Price, location, condition and what you get is amazing! Only one thing would be great if they upgrade tv in the room. Ppl now like to have smart tv with Netflix and YouTube. "

"The staff were great and the room was older but clean. The pool was fantastic. There are a couple concerns. The WIFI only works if you are sitting outside of the office. It does not reach the rooms. Also the rooms do not have safes and there are no safety deposit boxes in the office. Meant having to keep valuable on your person all the time. "

"The room 116 is in need of refurbishing. The bathroom is not safe due to the ground being drenched in water after a shower thus making it liable for injuries. The windows need to be cleaned on a regular basis. The staff are extremely helpful and did their utmost to provide all the necessary items needed. USB ports didn’t work and heated up. In room 115 the curtain ties were difficult to use because of loose fittings. The location is perfect for beach and shops."

"Booked this hotel 9 months before our stay, selected a superior room with balcony, when we arrived we were given a tiny room with no balcony or terrace. We went back to reception and complained and they gave us another room, it was better but not a great view, overlooked the coach park at the back. The pool area was ok, got sun most of the day but there are not enough sunbeds for the number of guests staying. People were placing towels on the beds to 'reserve' them while they went off for to have breakfast or to go shopping, this is so annoying. The gym was quite good, enough equipment to get a decent workout, but they didn't put clean towels out everyday. The room was very lacking in storage, one wardrobe with a few hangers, no shelves or drawers so had to live out of our suitcases as had nowhere to put clothes. Plus points, good location and quiet enough to get a good sleep. "

"The pictures don’t reflect the standard of the hotel - it is very run down, stain carpets in the hall, pool was green when we were there. But if you can look past the decor the location is right across the road from the beach, AC works and it has hot water and a fridge."
