As someone who travels 30 weeks a year for work, I can honestly say this was the best experience I have had in years. Easy check in, amazing property and room, location 10/10. I want to move in here. Perfect for work or vacation. Fast internet, full kitchen, a block from the beach, 3 blocks to Promenade. Can’t say enough good things.

Excellent location in Santa Monica. Realize when you book this is not a typical hotel. No service in room entire time you are there. No A/C although overhead fans work well. Full kitchen a plus if you need/ want that. Lovely gardens to sit in behind gated area.

Our room had no A/C. The fan in bathroom did not work. After three days, I asked manager to have our trash removed and clean towels. I was told the “guests need to throw their own trash”. Our room windows, had to stay open to cool down room. Windows looked out on the alleyway where dumpster was. We listened to the lid banging all night long! Parking on the street was a constant struggle. No restaurants/coffee shops within 4 blocks. Definitely not worth the price!

What a beautiful property! We stayed 10 nights in June 2026 in a studio. The whole time we were there we just kept saying how we lucked out finding this wonderful place to stay. Highlights: The room was beautiful with a king bed, full bathroom with sink/tub and a separate sink area outside of the bathroom, dining table, and full kitchen with plates, pans, etc. Check-in was smooth and we were able to access our room a few hours early, which was much appreciated after arriving on an early morning flight. The beach was easy to walk to, although be aware that reaching the beach requires taking a walking path that crosses a highway, so there are some inclines, stairs, etc. Laundry on property and management thoughtfully has rolls of quarters available in exchange for cash. Laundry facilities were clean and in good working order. Internet was great. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with bright flower beds. water features, a cute library area, etc. Very small negatives: The elevator is old and slow, but we appreciated that one existed at all as we were on the 5th floor so we used it for suitcases. laundry, etc. This property is a previous hotel that was turned into an apartment complex and is now becoming a hotel again. There was no mid-stay cleaning service, which was fine, but I would have appreciated the ability to exchange towels for clean ones instead of washing them myself. Very small inconvenience in an overall great stay. Highly recommend!

The suite we had was freshly decorated and furnished with good quality items. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The cleanliness of the facility is obvious as soon as you enter the place. It’s not a normal hotel, more apartment suite complex — and so there are no on site amenities. We only encountered one member of staff at check-in, who was friendly, and apart from that we didn’t see any other staff. Upon check out there was nobody at the manager’s office or to answer the phone; not a problem as we’d prepaid — so we just posted the key back through the office door. I would definitely stay here again in Santa Monica as it’s one block back from Ocean in a very quiet area.

We enjoyed everything about our stay! The room was amazing! The grounds and courtyard were amazing! The location was perfect with only a short walk to the beach and half mile to Santa Monica pier. I would suggest this stay for couples or even a small family. They provided a roll away bed for our 12 year old daughter. We will definitely be back to stay again!

Great location- walk to beach, farmer's market, promenade. Spacious, comfortable room. No a/c just a fan and open windows. Issue is that there is no service on site like a hotel. For the price, to be asked to take out your trash and place it in an alley is a bit much. Hot water takes forever to come. If it was half the price, I would give it higher ratings.
