"Stayed here for Ironman weekend. Clean modern room, right by Whiteface and just 15 mins from Lake Placid. Wifi works, AC works, shower gets hot quick, and hosts were very responsive. No complaints!"

"Lake view was amazing! They have kayaks there on site to use, no charge ! My daughter-in-law & granddaughter used one and loved it being out there on the lake! Our room was a room that you expect when you are in the mountains, it was like a cabin, beds , bathroom , we had air conditioning and heat , gets chilly at night lol…. Staff was on site and Lobby was open to check in, not sure why all the bad reviews … when your up in Lake Placid all you need is the room to sleep there was so much to do ! If your looking for luxury go somewhere else if your looking to experience a real feeling of being in the mountains this is the place!"

"Very nice property. Parking was a challenge with the race. I parked on the lower level and always found a spot. Maybe just spruce up the entrance down low (I know it’s a maintenance area) but it’s also a hotel entrance. Front enterance could Use some sprucing as well. May seem Minor, but this is the guests first impression. I will Just trying to help with some Useful feedback. Definitely be Back."

"We were in town for Ironman Lake Placid. This place was perfect. We loved how many places were walking distance. It was great as far as getting to the race in the morning. The staff was incredibly friendly. We loved the room. It was absolutely stunning there. Very comfortable stay. Loved the fire pit and Adirondack chairs around it. We would stay here again!"

"Whiteface Lodge is so cozy & comfortable with super helpful staff. The room was spacious & beautifully decorated with everything we needed. They left 2 huge home baked chocolate chip cookies each day which was a nice treat at the end of a long day. We really appreciated the free shuttle to town during the Ironman competition!! We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town."
