"We visited during the off-season so we expected that some of the amenities may be closed and areas under repair and updates. As such the room was spacious and comfortable, while the parking area was under construction there was ample parking which was a short walk from the front entrance. Prices were reasonable and staff were courteous and helpful."

"Las habitaciones/cabinas son bonitas y adecuadas para un hospedaje corto. La ubicación es buena para visitar lugares de interés en la zona y un poco más allá como Lake Placid. No tiene recepción ni hay personal que te atienda, solamente durante el desayuno. La comunicación es por e-mail. Si quieres una experiencia tradicional, este lodge no es para ti. Tampoco hay suficientes opciones cerca para cenar. Nos gustó el enfoque de sostenibilidad del hotel y los ingredientes sanos y naturales del desayuno. Sin embargo, creo que lo podrían mejorar con opciones calientes como huevos revueltos, tocineta o quizás alguna estación con opciones hechas en el momento (son pocas habitaciones). Tampoco sería tan difícil ofrecer carnes frías, quesos, etc. El desayuno era básico y lo mismo todos los días No vas a tener una experiencia típica de hotel. Si esto no te importa, es una buena opción. En la zona, vimos cabañas similares tipo hotel con más servicios y menos impersonales."

"We had the most lovely stay at Whiteface Farm for our kids' birthday weekend. The B&B is in a very convenient location for access to hiking, lakes, shopping, and restaurants. Buck was a gracious host and fabulous chef, and we can't wait to come back again soon."

"Amazingly cute little cabin with a stone fireplace. So cozy and welcoming. Small but well defined areas made it very comfortable. Loved personal little touches like handwritten notes on how to work the TV, cleanup and welcome. Amazingly sweet porch with a “Welcome Gnome”, lights and chairs to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. We were there in the rain which added its own charm but in the summer I bet the fire pits are magical. Would definitely love to stay here again and for longer!!!!"
