Great value and location, difficulty sleeping

We had a great stay and the apartment was bigger than we expected and in a great location. The apartment itself was like uni digs, only the important things were clean; kitchen, beds and bathroom. At night I couldn't sleep because there's a large window above the entrance door and the light in the Galway was on all night. I eventually went into the communal corridor and pressed buttons until the light went out. A curtain across that window would be great.

Tolle Lage, aber heruntergekommenes Appartement

Die Lage ist toll, 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Piccadilly Circus, fünf Minuten zum Buckingham palace. Die Gegend ist nett mit tollen Pubs und Restaurants. Das Appartement ist sehr heruntergekommen und nur sehr oberflächlich geputzt. Stellenweise eklig dreckig. Im Treppenhaus kam uns eine große Schabe entgegen. Der Check in hat gut funktioniert

AWFUL

We arrived at Apartment as agreed for a one night stay. There was a communication problem in getting the key. However, the apartment was shabby, tired and in no way welcoming. We had no alternative as we had a function to attend and thought we might manage the night and go home. But when we returned there was an awful smell in one of the rooms and despite closing the curtains the light from a Street Light shone into both sides of the Apartment. There was also a noisy fan from the kitchen of the Restaurant below and continued all night. It was not going to be a comfortable night and I think in retrospect we should have given up and gone home. It was not a pleasant experience and so I called the owners - no reply and therefore contacted customer care by phone. They were caring but despite numerous efforts could not find an alternative. As a consequence I was offered of a £100 voucher but still not happy with this experience. Having used Hotels.com for many years at home and abroad this was the pits !

Difficult getting keys. Broken shower. Bedrooms does not darken due to hallway fluorescent light (cannot be switched on or off) shining into hall and bedroom which had glass doors. We had to wear eye shades. Heater leaked when first opened. Drafty.

Es war sehr mühsam die Schlüssel für das Appartement zu bekommen. Man musste sich anmelden, jedoch nahm keiner das Telefon. Irgendwann nahm dann jemand das Telefon ab und wir vereinbarten ein Treffen für die Schlüsselübergabe. Wir mussten fast eine Stunde auf die Schlüssel warten. Das Zimmer sah auf den ersten Blick gut aus. Als man aber genauer hinschaute fand man auf dem Boden gebrauchte Taschentücher usw. Das Mobiliar war beschädigt. Die Lage war sehr zentral. Nur leider konnte man nicht schalfen weil Tag und Nacht ein unerträglicher Lärm mich störte. Leider wusste ich nicht voher dieser ständiger Lärm kam, jedoch denke ich das es mit der Lüftung des unterhalb befindenden Restaurant taurant zutun hatte. Wer bei Lärm nicht schlafen kann, sollte auf keinen Fall hier buchen.

The worst

The WORST! No visible from street, no reception, stood waiting for 30 mins in the cold before I could get in Room on top floor was hot, flooded with light as the door is glass. WIFI didn’t work and there is NO TOILET! Wouldn’t stay again

Great location. Not so great apartment.

Perfect neighborhood with many pubs and restaurants. Walk to the major attractions including Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. Staff communicated very well even though they are not onsite. Apartment itself was dirty and poorly furnished. However, it was not expensive. Value for the price was there. If you're looking to be in the middle of it all...for as little $$ as possible, this would be the place.

Perfect location

Very central and convenient little flat in a charming area. Nice restaurants and pubs in the street. 5mns from Green Park station Only minus : Sofa bed mattress needs replacement but overall very good experience

Great location but poor apartment

Apartment not ready when arrived after check in time. Many of the items broken - lights TV Hall light could not be turned off and glass door so could not sleep with constant light
