"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, as was the evening meal we had in the restaurant. Our room was small but with a lovely bathroom. We found it quite noisy as the main road was right outside."

"A really lovely stay and a great warm bath, a little noise from from the town centre on a Saturday night so suggest a room on the other side if you sleep with the window open. Lovely helpful staff, and a great breakfast."

"Lovely clean room. Very friendly staff. I used the restaurant each night of my stay and the food was great. I travelled with my dog and we were made to feel very welcome."

"This hotel is beautiful and located in an amazing spot next to the spectacular Devils Bridge Waterfalls. The hotel/ rooms are decorated to a very high standard and the bed was extremely comfortable. Our evening meal at the hotel was very good and would suggest adding breakfast to your stay too. The staff were great as well! The nearest car park is short distance up the hill (free parking). If you have luggage, park up directly opposite next to the outdoor dining area. I would highly recommended this hotel."

"Lovely welcoming staff, clean spacious room. Food in the pub was excellent as was the well kept beer. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. I'd certainly recommend The Lowfield"

"Lovely Hotel.Reception staff were very helpful. I had a superior double room well worth the extra cost. Had a lovely ploughmans and sticky toffee pudding for lunch in bar area,really enjoyable.Nice patio outside for evening drinks!!!Breakfast was excellent set in a beautiful dining room,service was excellent especially from sue who went out her way to make it enjoyable!This was my first visit to the Castle Hotel of Brecon and it won't be my last!!"

"We really enjoyed our three night stay. The staff and the food were excellent. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the area or popping over the border in to Wales. We were able to park right outside the door to our room which was well equipped and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others."

"The room was clean however it is smaller than we expected but it was worth for money. Free parking available however it gets busy in the evening because the people those who are coming to pub also use the same carpark. The hotel situated in a great location. Aldi and Tesco Extra are few minutes walking distance. Curry house and kebab shops are close too."
