Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay, Emília was fantastic. Our beds were clean and comfy. The location is good. We walked into downtown takes about 1 hour.

Emilia was terrifically responsive, kind and helpful. The neighborhood is both traditional and in renovation (check and see if construction might be underway nearby) with close access to grocery, cafes and transport. Walk to Lisbon Miradouro, EVII park and Marques de Pombal.

Great stay!

Great stay! Perfect for what you need. Comfortable bed and room. Shared bathroom was fine. About a 15 minutes walk to yellow line subway which connects to all other lines. Close to shopping mall and bus stops.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was small but clean. It was in a safe area and very convenient to public transport. Emilia was very kind and helpful! My only complaint was that noise traveled in the building so it was a little loud at times. But overall, I was very happy and it was a great situation for a good price.

The multiple (6?) guest rooms off a single hallway felt like a hostel experience. I shared a room and bed with my daughter, and there were 2 shared bathrooms, but since there was only one other room occupied, it was not any issue. The shared kitchen was clean and well-equipped. The building is old and there are some resident apartments. In general, good basic accommodations with old fashioned charm. I did not see any lights in the hallway, so we had to use our cell phone flashlight on the stairs and to unlock the door at night.

Lovely Guest House, Highly Recommended!!

For the price of the stay, the guest house itself was fine. Walls were thin so earplugs for sleeping were a must, at first I was taken aback that my room didn't have a window, and the building is old, so even before my stay I was fully aware I didn't reserve a luxury room at a fancy hotel. However - what made me leave a 5 star review on all aspects was the hospitality and professionalism of the lovely staff, and everything that came with it. The guest house's shared spaces were kept VERY clean. Especially Emilia is a wonderful hostess, the sweetest person I've propably ever had a pleasure to encounter, and she made sure every guest felt welcome and appreciated. She even went out of her way to have brought some sun-umbrellas for the guests to use at the beach, which was just one of the many wonderful and kind gestures that added to my overall experience. Fresh towels and linen were available upon request and there was the opportunity to have your clothes washed for a small fee, as well as tools and supplies in the shared kitchen to use for cooking (for free). For my budget trip this was really useful, as a small hotel room normally does not contain any space or appliances for cooking. The location of the guest house was top-tier, a really convinient travel from and to the airport, to all of the destinations that I wanted to visit since metro and bus stops are very nearby, and a large shopping center right around the corner. I really loved my stay at Guest House Amoreiras! TY

Very good!

The guest house is well located with easy access to bus and metro services. There are a few good restaurants nearby as well. Both the room and the shared bathrooms were clean. Overall we had a great time at Guest House Amoreiras.
