"Great stay for one night before our flight out of Lisbon. Perfect when coming or going from airport just 15 min away. Clean, modern, well appointed. Very clear check in instructions. Never met/saw staff but we didn’t need to. It is in flight path which is quite loud outside but at night sleeping room was quiet just a low background noise of a plane passed. "

"The property is a great location and very clean. I was a little shocked by the size of the room. The bathroom is very small and faces the bed with a pocket door. The room is slightly bigger than than the bed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. "

"I just want to make it clear that this place is a hostel/hotel although we did have a private bathroom the rooms were very small but good since we only stayed a night, the staff were very kind. When you enter you must take the elevator or stairs to the first floor and that is where you'll find the hotel/hostel, it's confusing at first. Overall good stay if ur on a budget, the door knob had problems closing but we ended up figuring it out. "

"The staff were accommodating, storing my luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which was really helpful. The room was perfectly fine for my short trip as I was out most of the day and evening exploring Lisbon. Just would have liked a kettle/mini-fridge but perhaps that’s for bigger hotels. I felt safe in both the area and the building. The location was excellent, with lots to do nearby and easy access to other parts of the city. I didn’t need to use the metro, just the local buses....

"Each room in the hotel differs a lot in size and condition. The room we had originally booked was extremely small which was fine but had a damp / mould issue that had an unbearable smell. It looked like it had been previously painted over. Staff were lovely and changed us to a different room which was huge and much better. Beds / shower were good. Staff were very lovely. And breakfast was delicious. Excellent location and good soundproofing in the rooms. "

"My wife, daughter, and I enjoyed everything about the Tesouro da Baixa except finding it (the front door's sandwiched between two shoe stores). Marvelous and helpful staff, spacious rooms, great views from our balcony, fresh eggs cooked to order from the hotel's own chickens, eclectic art decorating the walls and halls, perfect central location to hold Lisbon in the palm of your hand. Highly recommended."

"Our room was large, clean, and had a very nice patio that overlooked a pool, small waterfall and lovely landscaping. Breakfast was delicious. They also had coffee and cake available in the afternoon. A honor system bar exists near the breakfast room. Front desk staff was helpful and kind. I would recommend these accommodations. There is street-side metered parking. "

"Our experience at Santa Luiza was excellent. Accommodations were very nice and location fantastic in the Alfama area of Lisbon. The best part was the great service from the staff including Maria who helped us on several occasions including booking out transfer to Oriente station for our train trip. There were some negative reviews we saw before booking but those ignored the fact that you are in a historic building, the rooms are smaller and you are there for the experience."

"Lovely hotel and great location! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a balcony. The glass door of the balcony was surprisingly soundproof, blocking all street noise at night so we slept very well. There is no elevador, so you have to walk up stairs to get to the upper floors, but the stairwell was wide and not very steep, so we had no issues there. I really can’t express enough about how lovely the staff was here. Great...

"Garam Lisboa has so much going for it! Unique decor, all very helpful staff for recommendations or transport options, city bus stops half a block away. Walkable dining of all sorts - markets, pizza, gourmet, bakery cafes. Safe neighborhood. Would definitely choose again!"

"The booking was confirmed on a 2nd floor, i got a 3rd floor, all switches dirty actually black, bed horrible mattress, there was a alarm ringing at 04 am on first night, and toilet cleaning very bad specially in the shower. Mean time I have lung emphysema and I complain about the floor as confirmation was to a 2nd floor they said that wasn’t for us chose the floor even if of the booking wouldn’t show that you were going to stay on a 3rd. So yes mainly was very bad "

"We reserved a family studio. The room was very spacious and had a working air conditioning! We went in April and the two other hotels we went to before this one thought it was too early to allow AC.. so we had to open the windows and endure the noise in the street during the night. So, we were really happy when we saw that the AC was working at this hotel. It is located in the heart of Belém, which was really nice. They change the towels every 3 days and bedsheets once per week, but it was...

"The Locke is a lovely place to stay. The neighbourhood is conveniently located a few steps away from Marques de Pombal Metro, allowing easy acess to all areas of Lisbon. The property itself is delightful and I opted for one of the more budget friendly rooms in building D, which although located in the basement it is bright and airy due to the large windows at street level...anyhow I wasn't about to spend much time in my room when there's an entire city to explore. That being said the Locke de Santa Joana drips history while at the same time featuring all the mod cons we humans expect. Also, don't forget to make a reservation at the restaurant in the courtyard of the former 17th century convent..the Santa Marta...outstanding food and outstanding people who work there."
