"The staff are superb! They do their best with the facilities they have. This is not a 4 star hotel--2 stars at best. It is in real need of a comprehensive remodel. Breakfast was tasty but very basic. Otherwise I didn't eat there. The hotel is rather isolated and travel to the north or east sides of the island took 45 to 60 minutes via grab or bolt.
Again, 5 stars to the staff. But for the price, you can do better."

From the minute you step into reception you know you're somewhere special. Rooms are a dream. We stayed in a garden villa which was the cheapest room option. I'd love a chance to see the other rooms as I can't see how ours could be topped. Food was sensational. Especially the sushi. Staff were super attentive and couldn't do enough for you. Kwan especially who looked after us during the day at the pool.

All the food in the hotel (and believe me we tried pretty much all of it) was brilliant. Short walk along the beach to Bophut Fishing village with more bars, restaurants and shops. Only negative was that the holiday ended too early. Would definitely go back.

I went to The Pasage in August 2014 for a family wedding. The wedding was organised by the Hotel and they did a fantastic job. The hotel is in a quiet area but there is a free bus from the hotel every day that takes you to Nathon or to the tourist area of Chaweng. Trips can be booked at reception at reasonable prices too. The Hotel is clean and the staff can't do enough for you. The spa on site is a must. Best massage I have ever had.

Built into the hillside which gives incredible views. But means a lot of steps and very steep slopes.
Away from the resorts which is nice and peaceful. But does mean you need to get the shuttle if you want to go out. The shuttle is fine, runs hourly and takes ten minutes to get to the beach so very easy. There is also an excellent private limousine service run by the hotel which costs under £10 to get to most places...

After endless hours of researching locations, I settled for the beach town of Mae Nam. I was drawn by the promise of white sand beaches, clear blue waters and astounding views of Koh Phangan.
My primary objectives was to choose the perfect location to relax without the crowds and noise whilst not being too secluded. Having my own private pool and garden area to enjoy sunbathing in privacy was a top priority. Above all was good value for money!

We absolutely fell in love with this place! Ok, so it was not in perfect decorative order but it really was so lovely! The staff are so lovely and helpful and the place was kept clean. The location was absolutely ideal - quiet at night but close enough to Chaweng nightlife.
