"Lovely hotel. Decent size room, nice and clean, lovely staff too. Free breakfast in the morning (bagels, toast, pancakes, fruit and yoghurt) as well as tea and coffee. It is not on the beachfront but there are bus stops outside and I used the Metro to get to Downtown SM which was around a 15-20 minute walk (I do not drive). "As soon as we came out of the elevator it stunk like cigarette smoke on the entire floor and in our bedroom. The smell was so strong in the carpets and curtains, it was pretty gross.
The shuttle to Universal was really convenient, and the food in the courtyard was good. The movies playing at the pool was a really fun idea although it was too cold at night. "
