Great communications ahead of our stay, and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. I really cannot compliment them highly enough. Set on the banks of Lake di Annone this superb hotel was just what we needed. Quiet, exclusive & with amazing service. We had a signature suite, so we had a hot tub with a huge wrap around balcony. This is one of the best places that I have ever stayed as it offers so much more than just a comfortable hotel space. The connection of Casa sull'albero to its magnificent position overlooking Lake Como is very sensitively achieved. Good location on the lake and overall a very nice hotel would recommend although we have extended our stay as we liked it here they have charged us a fair bit more on the nightly rate than our first few days which is a little unfair

Beautiful location with direct views to lake Como and mountains. Just a few yards from shore of the lake which has a pebbly beach. Great for swimming. Some good restaurants around and just across the road from the railway station. Amazing setting! The breakfast (Halal) is really good and sitting in the garden looking at the lake and mountains is bliss! Very helpful staff. It's one of the best 3* hotels we've stayed in.

Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable room, we had a lovely view of the river and mountains, the beds and pillows were very comfortable also. There was a fridge in the room, a large flat screen TV, and the shower was good with hot water any time of the day. The breakfast was amazing with everything and more included, continental but you would not think so with eggs, bacon, sausage cooked meats, cheeses, freshly baked rolls, cereals, not to mention all the pastries and cakes and panacotta...

Beautiful hotel, deserves 5 stars, breakfast is included and amazing. Easily accessible, you take bus 1 and the funicular train san vigilio. Beautiful views.

The hotel was exactly what you would expect, a lovely little hideaway in the mountains with lovely rooms and staff who were very friendly and extremely helpful. Could'nt have stayed at a nicer place

A faultless stay.

We had a lovely stay at Don Abbodino, we were a little apprehensive about staying in Lecco as it is not as popular as the other towns of Lake Como, however do not worry it has a perfect charm, stunning vistas, wonderful restaurants and atmosphere. Our room on the top floor was a great size with a huge modern bathroom, and incredibly light, the AC worked a treat. Breakfast was well served and a great selection of items to choose from. The room was clean, modern and the electronic blackout shutters were appreciated. Check in and issue of electronic room keys was straightforward. The bistro downstairs was friendly and lively. It would be useful for the hotel to provide instructions on the lighting as the system was not very intuitive. The safe did not work - a small inconvenience.

Staff were helpful and friendly, we used Google translate a lot. 10 minutes from Colico by Taxi (don't rely on the bus), where you can get the hydrofoil to other areas around Lake Como. Fantastic underground parking. The food in the restaurant was lovely and great service.

Absolutely fantastic apartment in a Beautiful location, the rooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard, the staff were extremely helpful and always smiling! A great selection at breakfast especially the freshly made scrambled eggs. We popped down to the restaurant on a couple of evenings and the food was lovely. Nothing at all negative to say!
