Between Galveston Bay and Houston, this Gulf Coast city offers excellent fishing at Highland Bayou Park and local history at the La Marque Historical Museum. Families enjoy the splash pad at Carbide Park, while nature lovers can spot birds at nearby Galveston Island State Park.
What an amazing little find.
A family run mansion. Absolutely perfect.
Everyone was super friendly and happy to help with any questions we had. They were there if we needed them but were happy to leave us to our own devises.
This was the end of our America trip (been to a few places) so was nice to relax.
We were recommended good places to eat & help with the best beach to attend.
The breakfast was lovely. Especially the eggs & coffee!!

The breakfast cooked from scratch each day by Logan was absolutely wonderful. We have never experienced service and hospitality like it! The location of the hotel is just perfect for visiting both the historic district and the seawall area. And to top it all off, Richard himself drove us to the port to join our cruise ship at the...
