"Emilio and Angelica are the perfect hosts. So welcoming, friendly, fun and helpful. They want you to be comfortable and to enjoy their home. The breakfast is delicious, Angelica bakes fresh cakes everyday - they are amazing. The property is a little remote - but they tell you this - and the price is reflective of this. For us it was the great base to explore the Amalfi coast, we had a car so did not feel stranded there. Pool area is very nice, perfect for a few hours of relaxing after a busy day hiking or sightseeing. We stayed 4 nights, just note that their plug sockets are not the standard Italian 2 pin - not sure why - so this was a bit challenging, and we had cold water a couple of mornings. Despite that their hospitality made you overlook these things "

"Really enjoyed the staff, we loved the way they treated us like family. The grounds, a lot of lemon trees, are beautiful. It can be a little challenging to get down into town but the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. It looks scary, and it can be, but walking to and from the hotel to the town is quite doable for those accustomed to walking. All in all, a great place. "

The woman in the front who helps with bookings secured a last minute reservation at a rooftop directly in front of the duomo. Stunning views and meal. We visited number of other five star hotels, but here is the only that has all the modern amenities with the same superior staff and the one of a kind historical character.
