This bed and breakfast was very comfy and close to the shops, restuarants and the beach. There were only 3 rooms which were in the owners house and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We were lucky to find out all the local knowledge from them.

Wonderful, friendly and happy hotel! Very welcoming people, amazing views from the pool and the rooms. The VW beetle which we borrowed was amazing. It is easy to explore Positano from the hotel and the staff explained very well where we should go.

Amazing stay

From the moment we were met by Gippy, the owner of Venus Inn, when we arrived in Positano by bus, he was a fantastic host, giving us lots of useful tips about the town and day trips along the Amalfi Coast and to the islands. The centre of Positano is an easy, downhill 20-minute walk from the B&B by road, and even quicker by stairs. Great views at breakfast from the terrace down to the sea and up to the nearby peaks. Hotel was lovely - well located, my triple room was comfortable and spacious, and amenities were provided (without needing to ask for them). The team was excellent and the highlight of the stay, getting in touch early to offer suggestions, transportation options, making sure we were comfortable, and even reaching out about earphones that my friend had left behind. Alfonso and his family made our stay in Maiori fab. The b&b was centrally located, a nice breakfast was enjoyed every morning on the balcony and the room was cleaned to a high standard every day. Alfonso also runs a bar ‘The Stay’ in the centre, which served lovely food and drinks and meant that you were able to communicate with him if you had any questions or concerns regarding the property and/or the local area. We stayed here for one night to see Amalfi and Ravello. Perfect location in the centre of Amalfi (close to the port and also the main street) and Christian told us everything we needed to know. Beautiful room too. Ravello is easily accessible by bus from the Port.

I travelled solo - staying in single room 3 overlooking Amalfi Cathedral. Clean, comfortable, A/C, hearty breakfast - Maria was a really lovely, warm host. The accommodation is a little dated but I would wholeheartedly recommend this very convenient little hotel. Thank you! I hope to return one day! X

The hotel was in a fantastic location right on the waterside with it's own jetty for sunbathing on and steps into the water for a swim. A rooftop terrace also. The room was very spacious with a fantastic view over the marina although we had a large terrace (room 352) which seemed to be the only one with chairs and table. I booked late for a friend's wedding and on the map it looked close to Amalfi where most of the other 80 folks were staying to be near Ravello, where the wedding took place. I arrived the next day, picked up from Naples airport (the nearest one). There was a party in Ravello that evening hosted by the engaged couple. Whilst a bit out of town (and some narrow roads to get to it), the staff are fantastic and it is such a calming place. Great to have a slightly cooler temperature to relax in the evening. Great food as well. Even managed a superb hike from the hotel with great views over the Amalfi - stunning, and a beautiful cathedral / monastery right on the door step. Will definitely be returning soon.

Sumptuous hotel, excellent reception and staff services, I felt very welcomed and cared for especially when alone. The dining rrom staff were especially attentive and pleasant. The appartment was perfectly clean with good facilitiies but disappointed not to have a window in either bedroom or living area otherwise perfect and lighting and plug sockets useful. Wifi reception variable, was not available for many hours during my stay from 18th-24th even between 1 and 4 in the mornings. Food...

Run by James and Geraldo. -Promptly answers to your phone calls or calls you back if number busy. -Hassle free check-in but you have to arrive at the hotel between 3.30-7.30pm before staff go home. -You will be stranded and unable to check-in if you arrive after 7.30. -Great facilities for a self catering holiday. -Close to the beach and local shops and attractions in Amalfi. -A good location for exploring the rest of the Amalfi Coast.

I'm 60 myself and quite fit but found the long walk down the steps to the hotel , but I loved it and intersting walk , and the Hotel porter carried the luggage so not a big deal !
