We lived the hotel. It is well loaded, very closed to everything in Positano. The room was cleaned and cozy. The breakfast was good. The staff very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

The included breakfast was a nice feature. The staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms are small and a.nit expensive for what they are but that is the cost of staying on the coast. The hotel is located very close to all the shopping stores and close walk to the beach. Great hotel if you are looking to stay close to the main areas.

We had a lovely 3-night stay and would return again. The included breakfast and crafted coffees start the day off great. The staff is very friendly and helpful with suggestions. The location is midway between the beach and upper area - walkable and also close to the bus and parking options. The hotel is on the road so the noise can be loud while enjoying the balcony. Be sure to utilize the pier luggage transfer service, only 10 euro a bag.

I had a wonderful stay at La Bougainville. The room was stunning, exceptionally clean and offered a perfect view of Positano, made even more special by the beautiful balcony. Breakfast was absolutely sensational, with a wonderful selection to start the day. What really made the experience memorable, however, was the exceptional staff. Everyone was so welcoming, helpful and attentive, always going above and beyond to assist. Although the building is older, it is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean and perfectly situated right in the heart of Positano, making it an ideal base for exploring. A truly lovely experience from beginning to end. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend La Bougainville to anyone visiting Positano!

The staff was very helpful with recommendations and called outside agencies for reservations, pick ups, etc. The hotel is in a very central location, easy walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants.

The small hotel is well situated in the lower area of Positano. The staff were very attentive, helpful (dinner reservations), and offered a personal touch which is welcoming compared to large modern hotels. The hotel reached out to us several days before arrival to see if we needed anything (parking, arrival time, arrival method (ferry or car). They suggested that they could arrange luggage porter service from the ferry dock to the hotel. We chose to carry our own luggage, but I highly recommend using the porter service (The hotel does not look far from the dock, but is all uphill). The hotel is also very close (a few minutes walk) to the Mandara Garage, which is where Taxis/Car Service will pick you up (not at the hotel door).

We loved our stay here! Location was perfect and super close to everything! The only hard part is hearing the elevator in the very early mornings or when someone was checking out, but all in all what an awesome time we had in Positano! Plus, the rooms are super cute, spacious & clean!!
