An exception hotel with stunning views of Positano! The experience was everything I dreamed it would be - vehicle shuttle into the town in the morning to sight see and shop before the ferry boats brought in too many tourists, when we could call for the boat shuttle to collect us on the pier and help us escape back to the hotel by water (so much fun and with stunning views the whole way!) to lounge either at the pool or the beach. Excellent food and service all day from the open air breakfast restaurant to lunch at the beach restaurant on the water to drinks on the patio terrace with it built in ceramic benches or white wine and olives at your afternoon lounger to dinner on the balcony of the Michelin Star Restuarant Zass - Don’t forget to stop at the Chapel of St Pietro for which the hotel is named with its ivy over grown wall and bell tower.

This is perhaps the best hotel in the world! The staff are beyond brilliant and the views are amazing. The rooms are wonderful . We went for our 40th wedding anniversary and they upgraded us. A truly breathtaking property with an out of this world service. Everyone greeted us by our first name during the entire stay, they did not charge us a deposit at check in, nor did they ever ask us to sign for any of our bills. They truly make you feel like you’re a guest in a private mansion. The whole experience was beyond seamless and we felt like we were a part of the Il San Pietro family by the time we left. While the property itself is stunning—with panoramic views, elegant design, and world-class amenities, it’s the exceptional, personalized service that truly sets this hotel apart. From the moment we arrived, even thought it was very late in the evening, we were made to feel not just like valued guests, but like part of the Il San Pietro family. One of the most memorable touches was being personally welcomed by the General Manager Andrea Zana the next morning, whose warmth, kind small gestures like little gifts in the room and attention to detail set the tone for the rest of our stay. He seemed to be present and genuinely invested in each guest’s experience, and that personal connection is part of the magic in Il San Pietro.
