It’s a good solution if you want to be in a very convenient area of Kyoto but don’t want to pay too much. The Onsen downstairs are remodeled and in good shape."

"Amazing experience. The staff were absolutely wonderful. The food was great, the room was cleaan and comfortable, and the onsen was perfect after spending several busy days in Tokyo. I had read some reviews from a couple years ago regarding issues with pest control, and this seems to have been completely resolved. There was no concern for pests and everything was very clean and well maintained. We truly loved staying here on our honeymoon."

"We stayed one night and it was an amazing experience. The authentic inn is quiet and comfortable. Though I speak Japanese the staff member that assisted us the most spoke perfect English. The bath was prepared for us on time and we had the best sleep of our trip in Japan. The breakfast was delicious and refreshing. I can't recommend this inn enough."
