Was good but too many people in breakfast and sometimes was not comfortable. Room was very clean and comfortable. Beach was very nice and quiet.

Have just returned from a 6 night stay at the Anantara and it exceeded our expectations in all respects. I think the Thai people are one of the nicest peoples in the world and when combined with the superb service at the Anantara, it is a recipe for a marvellous holiday. The staff really were fantastic - they couldn't have been any better. I think for a short stay of up to a week or so then the Anantara can't be beaten - for a longer stay I might possibly choose one of the hotels further...

Positives: This is an amazing resort. It is a bit dated but they have remodelled recently, making it like new. The exclusive beach makes it the best in Phuket. The price is high. But well worth it. Room is very clean. Staff are very friendly and courteous. Spa is very good. Swimming pool is great. You can spend all day in the clean beach with soft white sand and blue smooth waters. The buffet breakfast was very tasty and had a big spread. Negatives: Restaurants are pricey. Better to book room...

Fantastic resort. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and could not fault the accommodation. The breakfast and location was outstanding. Overall extremely impressive.

This has been a lovely week. The hotel is just lovely and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Amazing stay!! Beautiful hotel!! Great for a restful stay.

Recently returned after spending 9 nights in this hotel. Very great and friendly staff also the conditions are amazing. Free shuttle to market and Phuket town arranged by the hotel also to different beach. Great private beach whatever you need to make the most of it till 3 pm around, no water then till like 7pm. Plenty restaurants and different places to eat just down the road, 5-10 minutes walk. The only down side is the food prices within hotel, European prices more like here in London....

Stayed in a 3 bedroom villa with 6 adults from September 21 - 27 . Spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. A good size swimming pool, beautiful location. The resort itself is big and beautiful. Friendly and very helpful staff. Very warm welcome from staff when we got there. Excellent buffet breakfast, but Friday night sea food dinner buffet was extremely expensive and not much varieties. Exceptional! The standard at the hotel is excellent, staff so attentive. Pricing good too at bars and reasonable at restaurants. The housekeeping was faultless! Beautiful gardens and watch out for the elephant on beach / resort everyday around 5:30. The kids slide in the main pool is brilliant.

Koyao Island Resort is the most relaxing place we have ever stayed. The photos online don't really do the place justice - I was nervous beforehand about whether it would be worth the money when there are alternatives on the island. Let me reassure you - it is. Staff were absolutely fantastic with our 2 year old boy. Lots of facilities for toddlers and a really safe and friendly environment. The hotel and facilities are on par with hotels that charge 2 or 3 times more. The staff are amazing and try really hard to make you feel at home. Has a very homely, safe and relaxing feel about it. The hotel is right on the beach and it was perfect. The pool area is lovely and features a little and large slide. The bedrooms and bathroom were spacious and stocked with toiletries. We had a lovely stay.

It is really paradise and perfect for a relaxing time with private facilities to unwind. Staff were lovely. The spa experience was brilliant. Food was bee good and the island toors (we went to Hong Island) were well priced compared to other top hotels and worthwhile doing. What a day!! Not the easiest/quickest place to get to but worth while if you staying for 4 days or more and part of the experience.
