"If you are looking for a spot that has character this, is it, it was a cozy old place above a pub. We went in the off season, so we had the place to ourselves. Nice little bookshelf filled with some fun activities to pass extra time off devices too! The food in the pub was not great for the price we paid, but the breakfast was amazing! "

"Great, roomy cottage. Perfect base for exploring the Peak District. Very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen. Close to several pubs and supermarkets. There is definitely a washer, not sure if there was a dryer."

"Great rooms. Exactly what we needed. Staff are very friendly and locals were too. Rooms were very clean and good size. Beds were comfy and easy access direct to car park from 1st floor, made it easy with our dogs. Fox Valley Shopping Park was 5-10 minutes walk and had some nice places for breakfast and dinner. Will definitely use this as a base again, when bringing our dogs to the moors. "
