The douglas house was very very nice! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The only 1 thing I could say we were taken aback about was , the place is adult only which we like because our kids are grown and we dont really want to have to deal with , listen to , or share spaces with other people's children , but there were several guests that were very very comfortable in their bodies and were very rude in and around the pool most of the time . This property is truly amazing but what adds the extra star are the staff, Shawn made our holiday, could not do enough for us. The house is just beautiful and so much history and extremely central. Just a few things that would advise but doesn’t effect the overall place, 1) the room we were in was opposite checkin so can be a bit noisy at times 2) the light from the outside garden pool area is on all night and keeps the room very light at night. These didn’t bother us but may affect others

Amazing hotel. Beautiful setting. Great room, wonderful breakfast and comfy poolside bar. Terrific staff. A must for a stay in Key West.

An absolute gem of a property in a fantastic location 😁 everything was spotless and clean, will definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend.

Lovely stay everything perfect

The whole stay was beyond belief. Check in very quick . Room 5 was everything we wanted. Their attention to detail was exceptional. Free bottles of coffee & water in room & outside by pool. Complimentary vino on arrival. Safe/iron etc. Heather & Kevin couldn't improve their villas. Oh and to top it off Free Happy Hour. Well worth a stay if in Key West .

Great central Location. Excellent facilities, rooms were immaculate and the morning coffee was very welcome as were the key lime cookies. If I had one complaint it would be the $40 parking fee, luckily we found a space on the main road to park our hire car!

Superb little hotel in a great location, with fab rooms and great service. We were fortunate to ate to receive an upgrade to a room with an upstairs terrace area. The pool below was great and a real sun trap. The gardens are so well maintained with lovely planted walkways. Breakfast was great and tasty. Highly recommend a stay here and close to everything but still quiet and relaxing .

The breakfast was more than adequate mainly continental but the air con was maybe a bit loud

We stayed here for a single night, having driven down from Miami on the Overseas Highway. The hotel is in a great quiet area just a couple of blocks' walk from the main part of the old town. There is occasionally on-street parking available outside, you just have to be lucky but we parked overnight in a nearby outdoor car park at an old church for $15 (cash only) The hotel is in great condition, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. This property is a gem. Very friendly and welcoming host who couldn't do enough to ensure we were welcome and enjoyed our staff. The room was spotlessly clean, the free continental breakfast and free water, tea and coffee and sun supplies were the icing on the cake. Within easy walking distance of everything the historic old town has to offer. Cant recommend this highly enough and will definitely recommend to all our friends and family

This is a lovely high standard B&B within walking distance of the old town. The atmosphere was excellent and the help faultless. I guess if I was to look for a fault it would be trivial but a kettle in the room would be nice. The breakfasts were excellent.
