Iberostar Selection Zanzibar – All-Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"Where do I even begin?! 😍✨ THE STAFF – Absolutely AMAZING! ❤️ Honestly, some of the friendliest, warmest and most welcoming people we have ever encountered! Every single one of them made our stay extra special. A big shout-out to Robin at the Front Desk for making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Gasper and Miraji, our Go-Kart champions, thank you for the endless rides and all the fun around the compound! Selemani and Andrea from Sports & Beach kept us entertained throughout our stay. Rashid, thank you for getting us moving with those fun pool dance sessions and aqua exercises – you certainly made sure we didn't just eat and relax! 😂💃 And Carlos, thank you for the fantastic Salsa lessons – we loved every minute! Finally, William at Mawe Bar, you certainly made sure our glasses were never empty! 壟 THE ROOMS – WOW! 🛏️ Super clean, beautifully maintained and those views... simply AHH-MAZING! THE FOOD – DELICIOUS! 🍽️ Let's just say we definitely came back home with a few extra pounds! 😂 The food was fantastic! A special mention to Salt & Cut Carnivorous Restaurant – an absolute MUST-TRY! And if you're looking for breathtaking beach views, Al Mar Social Lounge is the place to be! All in all, an unforgettable experience, made even more special by an incredible team who genuinely go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. We came as guests, but left feeling like family. ❤️"

Z Hotel & Z2 Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Loved our stay at Z2 Hotel! Staff are all so welcoming, friendly and helpful – which made Hotel Z and Z2 a standout property. You'll be greeted with warm smiles and a happy "Jambo" by everyone! Hotel Z is the main property, and Z2 is the sister property (where we stayed) right around the corner. Hotel Z2 offers the same access to the Z Hotel property including the pool and beach lounge area (pool-side service), gym, spa and access to the Z property restaurants and other beach-front resort property restaurants. Our room was not beach-front- but did include a pool view and was very quiet. The beach is very short walk around the corner through the Z Hotel. The location in Nungwi is excellent on a more quiet section of the beach, and close enough to night life and fun activities. The resort properties offers all-inclusive restaurants if you purchase that package. We had the breakfast package - which at Z2 and was pool-side right on the property and very good – egg dishes or avocado toast made the way you like + a really generous buffet spread with juices, fresh fruit, pastries and so much more. Rooms are very clean and the air conditioning is really good - a must on this tropical island. A back-up generator kept everything running well 24/7. This is a big deal on the island where rolling blackouts can occur. Security were all very welcoming and kept a close eye on the entrances but the area, and everywhere we went in Zanzibar, felt very safe regardless."

Turaco Nungwi Resort, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Right on the beach! Great stuff, very friendly and helpful service was excellent and so was the food in the vibes"

Hotel Riu Palace Zanzibar - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely first class holiday and resort. Food was exceptionally good, both in the a La Carte restaurants and the buffet, grounds were immaculate, staff were friendly and warm. The pool areas and raised beach were fabulous. If you had a question or needed help with something, dial 9 and reception staff sorted it without ever needing to leave your room. Without doubt one of our best holidays ever and we will be going back next year without a doubt. The only note of caution would relate to disabled or elderly clients, the resort is well advertised as large and sprawling and dotted around a hillside, so walking about for some might be difficult. We loved with Island and would rate this holiday overall as a 10/10!"

Hotel Riu Jambo - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"amazing resort, amazing staff (the nicest i’ve ever encountered) great amenities. i loved my stay here, would definitely come back to another riu in zanzibar in the future!"

Sunset Kendwa

10/10 Excellent

"Location on Kendwa beach was the best! Beautiful swimming, restaurant with beach view and stunning sunsets right from your beach chair. You can walk to other restaurants and the beach was safe for walking. Patrols also ensured beach merchants did not get too close. Wifi was spotty at times. Room was comfortable, though sometimes AC would go out due to spotty electricity issues which is all over zanzibar so not the property. A wonderful and easy stay after safari!"

Elewana Kilindi Zanzibar - Adults Only

"1000/10 stars. This hotel was absolutely incredible from the moment we arrived. The food was the best food I've ever eaten, and so"

Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa

Sunshine Marine Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"The eco-friendly resort is a little gem. The cuisine is varied and excellent—even by Italian standards—with an outstanding breakfast offering both sweet and savory options. The air-conditioned bungalows, equipped with mosquito nets, were serviced multiple times a day, including the spraying of mosquito repellent.Efficient and very friendly staff.Top-notch security. A quiet, secluded location. The resort is connected to two other properties under the same ownership, featuring long beaches to explore and two additional restaurants.Highly recommended"
