"Property is nice, but the area is not the best in Zanzibar. Beach is right where a working fishing village is located. Not very private at all! Property is nice, grounds are ok. Overall upkeep of the property is below expectations. We switched villas and the second one was better, but not in pristine condition. Villa layout is awkward. "Room was always clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, especially Aysher. Onsite restaurants, bar service and gym were all great. Front desk also arranged cabs to and from Stone Town and the airport (roughly 1-1/2 hour, $60 trip). A great spot for a beach/pool relaxing vacation. Hot water for showers was an issue, but perhaps common for the Zanzibar region?"
