"Room very clean!! "

"We stay at this hotel at least once a year and are always very pleased with the king bed suite and also appreciated it during our latest 3-day stay because it is roomy, has a great bathroom with a deep tub + shower, a very convenient area with desk, sofa, frig, and microwave, and adequate outlets for charging our phones, etc. Also, the people at the desk sometimes were very friendly and helpful but not always. But this time, we were very disappointed that the TV had no cable news (no CNN) except for FOX and very limited stations. The breakfast was inconsistent (a container of gravy instead of oatmeal our first morning) and although we love the coffee-latte machine near the lobby, it stopped working on our last morning. Also, on our last full day although we were out of the room from 9 AM - 3 PM, it was never cleaned but I was able to obtain clean towels."

"The breakfast was fresh and a great variety. The bar had a good selection of drinks. The staff was very accommodating."

"Room, especially furniture, needs some attention. The cabinet with fridge and TV looked like it might collapse. The seat of the desk chair was entirely worn. The bathroom had new tile in the shower, but a pealing door."

"The room appeared nice and clean. Pleasant smell when you walked into the room. Accessible shower and chair for showering. High toilet. I'm a wheelchair user. Plenty of space in the restroom. Bed was comfy-ish for a hotel. Pillows were soft. Breakfast offered a decent variety. We had a pleasant stay."

"I know people online tend to throw around terms like "worst ever," but when I say this was the worst hotel or motel I've ever stayed in, I mean the literal bottom of the barrel. A/C barely worked, dirt on the floor (and everything) when I came in, broken fridge, broken microwave. And the smell, my god! The whole place smelled like a thousand frat boys had been smoking cigs and spilling cheap beers everywhere for weeks on end. $55/night, I knew the place wasn't gonna be great, but damn, they could at least vacuum the floors and plug in an air freshener or two. This place is for tweakers, and no one else."

"Loved our visit. We usually stay here when we go to Iowa, but our last visit was terrible. Unfriendly staff made sure we went somewhere else. I contacted corporate, and they said changes were being made at the property, so I thought we'd give it another shot. I'm glad we did. Friendly folks from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. Carpets and amenities are being updated. A+++ and we will stay there again!"
