We stayed for 10 days here and as we have 3 young children it was perfect. It's away from the city but there are small shops and facilities nearby. The hotel and rooms are across a large lawn from the beach. The larger rooms are a short walk south from the main building and so you don't feel you're in a hotel. I was very impressed with the spacious room and good bed linen. There were many extras like a nice fridge and quality toiletries. it was one of the best stays I have had.

Amazing place. The breakfast downstairs is so good. They need to redo the photos for the apartments as it’s loads better than it looks on the site. Great location. Night food market just outside and a great mall next door. Highly recommend.

We've just returned from 3 weeks travelling to KL, Bali & Borneo, Gaya Island Resort was our last hotel and we had definitely saved the best till last! The hotel was so welcoming and brilliant from when we first stepped off the speed boat to when we stepped back on it to return to the mainland 4 days later.
