"The worst stay ever. The apartment is spacious and view is nice. The apartment condition is bad , the sofa is full of stain and dirty, Unpleasant smell around the house, the furniture also broken alot . Even bed sheet got stained . I passed Rm200 for security deposit at the counter upon check in , however I had checkout earlier the next day, the staff said will refund the money in 1-2days, however it was refunded after 4days and they deducted Rm63.68 from my deposit FOR NO REASON. "The mall attached isn’t the best one in the area but if you want to do sown shopping or kill time, it’s connected to the hotel. The prices are good! They have a train ride kids can do but no playground. The hotel was great. I wish it had a thicker blanket BUT that’s probably not something I would say when it’s hot. The breakfast was good with lots of food and drink options. Omg the menu food was delicious and we got in around midnight, but fortunately they’re open 24 hrs. It was exactly what we needed after a 7 hour delay in the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel. I travel with a 4 year old and we felt safe and comfortable. The gym was good too. "

"The Waterfront is a fantastic hotel in a brilliant location. Our room (as many others) had a wonderful view across the river to the golden roofed Sarawak State Assembly building and the Astana Palace and entertained us with a fabulous water fountain and light show every evening. The staff were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. We loved the hotel and Kuching. The only thing we didn’t like was the toilet seat, which was not of a quality to match everything else about the hotel. Overall, we would certainly recommend it."
