We stayed in this hotel for 13 nights. Property was clean, the customer service took sometimes but eventually they delivered, breakfast buffet had lots of options & very delicious with different varieties daily. Property advertised rooms are soundproof, but unfortunately rooms in our level weren’t sound proof. I still recommend this property for its other features.

I spent a whole week at the hotel and was absolutely delighted. The hotel has a great location – it’s easy to reach all the main attractions, yet it’s in a very quiet and pleasant area. The hotel staff were excellent, from the reception team to the housekeeping staff – all very responsible and friendly people. I have no complaints at all. The restaurant and breakfasts were top-notch. Everything was absolutely delicious. I had a wonderful time in this beautiful city and hotel.

Comfortable stay business trip Istanbul

Comfortable stay two night business trip in Istanbul. The hotel is strategically good placed close to the highway and close to Zorlu shopping center where the Metro stop (Gayrettepe) is placed which goes directly to the new airport. Breakfast was not the best but the view was nice from the restaurant.

Not so great hotel

Beds very comforable and maids very nice. Reported black mold in the shower to managment and they claimed it was "old" and not "mold". Doormen rarely opened the doors for us, but were helpful to get a taxi and the food from the restaurant on the 18 floor was not good (shrimp caesar salad and burnt hamburger). The pizza restaurant was very good. The 18th floor restaurant also wouldnt let wife dine there because of antibiotic drip which is total discrimination. Their booking rates were higher than on hotels.com.

My Favorite Istanbul Hotel!

I love this hotel. I love the staff. I love the food. I loved my corner room, which was beautifully decorated and spacious. This is now my favorite hotel in Istanbul. I’ve stayed here twice and each time was absolutely amazing. Ezra showed us to our room. She’s amazing! The front desk staff gave us another room upgrade. Sader, the supervisor in the dining room, is always kind and gracious. Our housekeeper was very sweet, kind and accommodating. If you’re looking for an amazing place to stay in Istanbul, I highly recommend The Point Barbaros Hotel! You’ll love it!

Amazing Hotel!

I absolutely love this hotel. We were given an upgrade to a higher floor with an amazing view of the Bosphorus Bridge upon arrival. Kudos to Tufan for his kindness and the upgrade. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable with very fluffy pillows. The bathroom was spacious with a wonderful shower. The staff was absolutely amazing, especially our cleaning lady Zulekha (not sure if I spelled her name right) and Sader, Said, and Omer at the Restaurant. The food was very tasty and enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. We ate dinner several times at the 18th floor restaurant and truly enjoy the barbecue chicken. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s located in a very nice area with lots of restaurants, an exchange office and a grocery store nearby.
