We stayed for six nights. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly staff. The hotel is squeaky clean, the food is wonderful and the service is excellent.

The staff were amazing, but the room wasn’t as expected. The carpet wasn’t clean, the drawers weren’t functioning properly, the sofa wasn’t clean, there wasn’t any kitchen wear. I asked for a blanket but I got sheet!

The room was okay overall, but the air conditioning didn’t work properly, which made it difficult for me to sleep during my stay. I requested a fan, but was informed that no fan was available. Although I set the room temperature to 16°, the thermostat controls were limited, and it seems the hotel manages the modes centrally. To make matters worse, the heater mode was on despite my setting, and the room became quite suffocating. I eventually had to switch off the system and open all the windows just to get a bit of sleep.

Staff behaviour were nice. Everything else are so bad, no soundproof in rooms & you hear even the sound of normal talking from rooms beside! smell of cigarettes everywhere even in rooms, poor breakfast. Surrounded area is super bad, you don’t even want to walk outside of the hotel To be honest you will regret staying there every minute!

Pros: Front desk staff (Serhat and Bilal) lovely and helpful, modern and clean rooms, available with balcony (jacuzzi room has a great view), good breakfast, fancy jacuzzi works well, hotel cats well treated and friendly. Cons: For the price the breakfast staff should be more pleasant. View from non-jacuzzi balcony is a garment factory and hillside (interesting but not as good as view in photos), stagnant water smell in non-j balcony room, toilet really close to sink, neighborhood is Very hilly.

Not television friendly!

It was good but not anything special. I particularly did not believe that a hotel in Istanbul will not provide television service with English speaking channel. Couldn’t watch television for the duration of my stay because ALL stations were Arabic.

This hotel has a great front end clerk who was helpful in many ways. He spoke more than acceptable English, and was able to get us into our room early. Also got us coffee and tea while we waited. The room was small but with good facilities, and clean when we got there. It was not cleaned the second day, and things like toilet paper not restocked. But that was a small and not essential thing. The hotel is in the middle of a rather steep road, and the walk up the hill to the metro is fairly long. Restaurants and stores are of the small neighborhood type and not what you would expect in a city location. This actually worked out well, since we found a local restaurant that was fabulous. One of the best meals of our trip, and obviously geared toward the local crowd.
