I enjoyed our stay here at Elysion Hotel. It was centrally located on a quiet street in Old Town where there are tons of other hotels, a 15 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar, in the heart of the textile/fashion district, 1/2 hour from Istanbul airport, several good restaurants that provide impeccable service (i.e. Diana Cafe, Venezia Cafe & Restaurant, B Class Restaurant, and Zurich Restaurant), near the oldest Turkish Bath called Hirzirbey Hamami established in 1458 AD, hair salons, massage/health & wellness centers, convenience stores, the light rail transit, and more! The room was clean, had daily housekeeping service, provided fresh towels daily, rainfall shower head with high water pressure, amazing selection from daily breakfast included from 8am to 10am, very family-friendly, and amazing hotel & kitchen staff. Very budget friendly and will stay here again! I highly recommend it

The service staff at breakfast were mostly uncommunicative and lacked helpfulness being the only English guests we found this difficult to address and overcome when asking for items etc. The rooms were VERY compact . Showers too small with maintenance issues. They appeared tired but adequate. The daily room service consisted off emptying the bins and changing towels left on floor. During the 4 night stay not once was the linen changed nor the the beds made. Had to ask for more toilet roll and shower gel etc Breakfast was typically Turkish and adequate but the hot items were not hot. Cold scrambled egg is not nice! Reception staff were helpful, polite and welcoming and the hotel is in a great location for sightseeing the attractions and close to tram services making it adequate for our stay.

Du får hva du betaler for. Dette er et rimelig alternativ midt i smørøyet, med gangavstand til de stor severdighetene og offentlig kommunikasjon. Rommet er slitt og senga litt hard, men det er rent og pent. Frokosten er OK. Mye salat og eggerøre. Ikke så mye pålegg for oss mer vestlige. Men vi er vel ikke i Istanbul for å gjøre det samme som hjemme? Trygt og godt alternativ. Valuta for pengene. Kjør på!
