"Place2Stay claims three stars but it doesn't offer this quality of accomodation. The building is not well maintained, the rooms are a little shabby and the services are basic. Rooms are never cleaned during the stay, even for a longer stay, and the waste bins are never emptied. Please give your guests a broom and let they know that bottles are not to be thrown away in the room bins! It's definitely not good value, hardly two stars. But the location is great as a lot of good Kuching restaurants...

"Basic but comfortable and clean. This could be a great place to stay if you have business nearby but there wouldn't be much reason to stay in this residential area otherwise. I suggest accepting airport pick up. It is not easy to find the place. Taxi driver couldn't find it and people in the neighbourhood weren't aware of it. The person who was supposed to meet us didn't answer the phone so it took a long time to get into the building."

"The waiting time for the room was long, supposed to check-in by 3pm, we waited until 3:30pm, the room was still not ready. The tv was a rabbit ear 13" with a snowy picture and 2 Vietnamese channels only. The hotel is old in a not so good area with hookers standing outside the hotel. The hotel is so old if it is clean you can't tell, needs paint, plumping toilet leaking around the base, needs lots of work to bring into a 1-star hotel rating. Many restaurants in walking...
