With an airport hotel there is an expectation that they will be functional but have no character this hotel is an exception. We were very pleasantly surprised to find how good this hotel was. The rooms were nice and spacious with some nice little touches. Great motel close to shops and restaurants. The room was clean and had many useful amenities such as a fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster and hob. Parking was also included and was close to the room which was convenient. Staff behind the reception were very friendly and helpful. I can't fault this motel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Christchurch. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

The Apollo Motel is situated close to Christchurch Airport, and if you are over nighting there are plenty of shopping and eating facilities nearby. The staff at the Apollo in our experience were excellent. When they learned that our baggage was missing they offered us every assistance. What a lovely hotel. Very close to Christchurch Airport and walkable to departures. Lovely clean and smart hotel. Large and comfortable rooms. Lovely beds. Nice restaurant with good food. Not to mention the brilliant robot service!! Love that!! And finally a special thank you to Rinny who helped us in our hour of need sorting out the car rental return to Scotties as they had closed early, not told us and left us in the lurch. Hotel right at the airport - very convenient for early morning flights. Nice modern hotel. Just what you expect from a Novotel. Staff were really helpful.

Great location for the airport, best bed i slept on while on South Island. Little bit of noise from departing guests at about 5.45am
