"we were taken to train station at 6am to catch the train and picked up at 7.30pm a couple of days later. A very good service and very friendly people. They could not help us more. We were a group of 10. Three trips to the train station. Much appreciated."

"This property looks more like an apartment complex than a hotel because it is, partly, an apartment complex. It doesn't have a hotel lobby or bar or restaurant. It does have a laundry room, which is something I would really like to see in most hotels. The hotel's name is essentially its address, and that can be confusing when trying to explain to some of the locals where you are staying, but that's not a big thing. My wife and I stayed there for a few days and found the bed comfortable and the room clean and well maintained. The shower was strong with plenty of hot water, and we had a small fridge, a microwave, and a kitchen sink with glasses and plates. This hotel is not located in the CBD, but it's a short bus ride to the central business district, and the bus stops are within a block of the hotel. (Christchurch has a nice public bus system that we used to go downtown and even get out to the airport.) There are several restaurants and other businesses along Lincoln within a couple blocks of the hotel. "

"Bar below is fine for a drink, darts, and dirty looks. The room is uninhabitable, unless you like dirt, grime, and foreign chemical and biological substances on your surfaces. The place is old to begin with, but not kept up and dangerous. If you have children definitely look elsewhere. "

"Very modern room. Equipped with stove, microwave, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to central core and 25 minutes to airport. Would stay again!"
