"The room was really spacious with a full kitchen and separate bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. The couple running the place are very nice. Its very close to the railway station (we walked back in the morning as the night before the taxis were charging $45 for a 4 min ride! The walk was easy). We would stay here again! "

"This place is a great choice -- close to the station if you are going to/arriving from Greymouth on the train. Crystal could not have been more helpful -- and the facilities are modern, efficient, and comfortable. "

"Great place to stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location. 10 minute walk to Riverside and 5 minutes to Hagley Park. Rooms are kept clean and the bed is comfy. Pretty good diner for breakfast. Not sure of cost but it’s comparable with other hotels I’ve stayed at in CHC. Out of the 3 or 4 different hotels I’ve stayed in there the Wyndham is my fave! "
