"We loved everything about our stay here. The room was comfortable and clean, the onsen was great, the staff, service and breakfast outstanding. This is a very traditional ryokan hotel in a wonderful location, very close to the Zenkōji temple and Nakamise St."

"Hallways smelt poorly, carpets are stained throughout the facility. We got the 4 person japanese room (only 2 in the room) and it was adeqaute for us. Outdoor tub included with room can only hold two people, food included with half board was buffet style and wasn't very good, however had a decent selection of western, japanese and chinese cuisines."
