"About a 5 minute walk from the main gondola at Tsugaike Kogen, and a 15 minute taxi ride from JR Hakuba station. Overall I would say the location is very good if you are looking for proximity to a ski resort without the late night hustle and bustle of Echoland/Happo One. Tsugaike Kogen is a very beginner friendly resort. Also closeby to the Hakuba Valley Shuttle (7 min walk). Restaurant selection in the area is decent! The public baths in this hotel are relatively quiet during off peak hours...

"This place is such a Vibe!!! Great and friendly staff. The shuttle from the bus stations is a fantastic perk. We had a traditional Japanese room and my kids loved it ! The restaurant is fantastic! We ate there 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed there. We regret regretted not eating there the third. Fantastic buffet breakfast before hitting the slopes. We even made custom screen print sweaters with artist Akari with Spin designs. I can’t say enough about this little Gem ! We will be back. "

"The hotel is very near to the slope for the resort, less 2 mins of walking. Dry room is located in the basement level Restaurant is good for both breakfast and dinner with reasonable price. Supermarket is just right across the street The only down side is it can be a little bit noisy during the late night on the main street. "

"This hotel was absolutely incredible. It’s located just five minutes from Happo-One, which made getting to the slopes unbelievably convenient. The ski shuttle service the hotel provides is also fantastic. Whenever you want to ski, you simply go down to the ski concierge, let them know you’re heading out, and they’ll have all of your gear ready—clean, dry, and warm. Then they drive you straight to the mountain of your choice. It honestly couldn’t be easier. Yes, the hotel is on the pricier...

The service was beyond attentive and the room was like out of a magazine. If you’ve got the money- splurge and do it!
