Old lodge. Fantastic staff. Family owned etc. great location. Very friendly.
A cozy economic inn not distant away from the Hakuba Ski Resorts. Transportation available. Although there were only a few staff member working in the hotel, they appeared to be so nice and dedicated that the experience of service didn’t seem degraded.
This hotel was magical. Really conveniently located near shuttle buses for skiing but the main drawcard for us was the wonderfully friendly team who greeted and looked after us, the magnificent breakfast cooked for us each morning and the special dinner we ate there one evening. Couldn't recommend it more highly. Beds were really comfortable and great storeroom for our skis
We had a great time in Hakuba and our trip was made even better by the incredible hospitality and service we received at Petit Hotel Enchante. Masa, Sayu and family went over and above to ensure we had a good time in Hakuba, we are so grateful for the experience we had at their hotel! I highly recommend!
My fiance and I stayed at the hotel recently with some friends while skiing in Hakuba. Masa and his family were so friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. We strongly recommend booking to have dinner at the hotel. Masa and his wife are incredible chefs. They offer a three course menu and also a bento box. The food was delicious (or oishii as the Japanese would say!) Booking ski lift passes was discounted and very convenient at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, warm and very clean. There's even an onsen at the hotel. The wonderful facilities may have made our stay comfortable, what made it memorable were Masa and his lovely family. We'll definitely be staying here again!
The owner and his family are the nicest ever. He went beyond his service and helped us arrange bento and transportation when we were in a rush to catch the train. We were overwhelmed by his warmth and the excellence service. There was a French restaurant at the hotel, and Masa san the owner was also the chef himself. The French food was authentic and delicate. Everything was just excellent. We were so impressed. Will definitely go back again.
Masa-san and the entire family were most helpful and obliging. Assisting with providing discounted lift tickets as well as arranging for reservations and drop off and pick up on certain days from the different slopes in the area.
The breakfasts were really good (I would recommend opting for the breakfasts) and dinner was very good too. There is a large selection of wines to choose from the wine list and also across the different price ranges.
Room was very comfortable and there is a large communal hot tub on site, which was great to soak in after a day on the slopes.
I would highly recommend the property and special thanks to Masa-san, Sari-san and the rest of the family for being such wonderful hosts.
