"Definitely would stay here again. Staff was so friendly, helpful, kind, and really got to know you. Luau was great! Good location with very affordable parking. Does have a hidden resort fee when you check in of $400 so be prepared for that b/c i was not aware and many people i walked past checking in also were not aware. Beautiful view of water from all rooms and sunsets! Bar open to the ocean was great and could see amazing sunsets from there. Easy access to in town eats/ coffee/ stores too walking distance! Will stay here again!"

"We loved this hotels location right in the heart of Kona. The beach right by the pool was very nice and a short walk to many restaurants and shops. The beds were very comfortable and the balconies were a nice place to take in the fresh air. The rooms were nice relatively recent renovations. The kids enjoyed the pool and the beach. The restaurant breakfast buffet was nice as well. The staff was all friendly and helpful. Our favorite part of our stay is that we were lucky to be there during a Hawaii cultural festival the hotel hosts first weekend in June. Amazing experience and so much talent!"

"They take very good care of you at this little gem of a hotel a block from the ocean ! I stay about three times a year and would not stay anywhere else in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. Very reasonable parking prices, very clean and up to date rooms and always a great free breakfast to start your day ! That is a 40 buck savings from going to a local restaurant ! On top of all that they have local employees that are the reason they call Hawaii paradise ! Great folks who are always a joy to stop and chat with and they know all the great places to go and things to see ! Parking is on site and always adequate and all the best things to do and see in Kailua Kona are within walking distance. Many thanks to the employees of Holiday Inn in Kona for all of their hard work to make paradise paradise !!!!!! If you want a fantastic experience when visiting the Big Island forgo the glitz of Waikoloa and visit Kailua Kona and walk along the sea wall and feel the ocean spray on your face 😎😆!"
