From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a truly special place, but it was our incredible hosts, Gene and Kriss, who turned a wonderful vacation into an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience. World-Class Hospitality Gene and Kriss are, hands down, the finest hosts we have ever encountered. Their hospitality is unmatched; they anticipate every need with genuine warmth and aloha. But they didn't just feel like accommodation hosts to us—over the course of our stay, they truly became friends. Sharing conversations and laughs with them honestly made our trip that much better. They are the heartbeat of this beautiful property. Spectacular Rooms & Stunning Grounds The property itself is an absolute dream. The grounds are meticulously landscaped, lush, and vibrant, perfectly capturing the tropical essence of Kona. Walking through the gardens feels like a peaceful escape. As for the accommodations, the rooms were spectacular—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and designed for ultimate comfort and relaxation. Waking up here and watching the sunset in the evenings was pure magic. If you want breathtaking views, luxurious and comfortable rooms, and a level of hospitality that makes you feel like family, Mango Sunset B&B is the only choice. We left with beautiful memories and lifelong friends."

"The resort was absolutely stunning and we had a blast hanging out at the pool. Our room was spacious and we had a view of wild goats passing by. It was amazing! My only complaint was that we requested clean sheets on one of the beds and a few extra towels and it was never done. I decided to wash them myself and the washer was complicated to figure out. I stayed up late waiting for my sheets. For such a nice resort it was a little disappointing."

"This is an exceptional property, large, expansive and beautifully integrated into the landscape. The staff is exceptional and will impress you from the moment of your arrival. The rooms are nicely decorated in an authentic, local character. We only dined at one restaurant, ULU, and it was excellent. This experience was first class all the way."

"I really enjoyed my stay here.. met all my expectations. Wasn't until the last couple days I ordered food to back to my room at the food truck by the pool and was left highly disappointed... if I ate near the pool and not packaged to go the food portions were appropriate.. otherwise i felt completely ripped off. Don't want to punish the resort for a couple few bad actors that seem to have a chip on their shoulder. Ordered food on 6/2 @ 11:30am."

"The rental house was in good condition, and it was obvious there are some improvements underway. The exterior of the rental had just been painted (the paint was still drying) when we arrived. The interior was very well kept with more than enough space for the four of us in our family. The location was tucked down into a small residential neighborhood approximately 15 minutes to downtown Kona."
