"Upon arrival we were greeted and offered to dine while we wait to check in. Check in was simple through an app and we were offered welcome cocktails. We did during our stay have some questions regarding the all inclusive menu as there were some restrictions we hadn't anticipated however the staff was very quick to respond and offer solutions so we could enjoy beverages we desired. "The villa was quite remote in the mountains but that is also what made it so special. We came from the seaside resorts which was busy and crowded and this was a beautiful respite. The view overlooking the entire area from their restaurant was breath taking and absolutely romantic. Taking a hike around the villa was invigorating and the villa itself was quaint but everything was functional - with tv access, hot water shower. In all, a fantastic stay!"

"The Atrion hotel is modern, well kept, and comfortable. Our room had a large balcony with a table and 2 chairs. The breakfast buffet is ample and tasty. It is very convenient to many neighborhood restaurants, pharmacies, shopping, and an excellent drop-off laundry. We easily walked to the Archaeology Museum and the public bus to Knossos. The immediate surroundings are in poor repair with uneven or non existent sidewalks so that the first block of any walk requires close attention."

Parking is available (EUR 14/night): you pause outside in the busy street, double-parking is normal, to unload luggage and the hotel staff will then take your keys and whisk the car away to somewhere else -- give 20 minutes notice whenever you want it back.
