"The hotel is very charming, but mostly it's the excellent staff who make it such a great experience. The location is fantastic, being quiet at night, at one end of the beautiful 'Canal of Seven Bridges', just 100m from a Tram stop, and close to the Albert Cyup Market and many amazing restaurants. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of variety to choose from, including fresh juices, great coffees, and freshly made Dutch mini pancakes and eggs to your liking. Oh, and don't forget the daily happy hour with unlimited beer, wine, and snacks - we went every day! Be advised that the rooms are typical for Amsterdam in that they are quite 'intimately sized' (some with bathrooms separated from the room only by a frosted glass wall), and accessed by steep and narrow stairs. None-the-less, I'd highly recommend staying here."

"The hotel was beautiful, well kept and had a great vibe. Breakfast menu was great but wish there was a choice of a smaller breakfast option. Property is immaculate as was our room! Temps were easy to control. Security excellent at the hotel through use of key cards for front door, staircase and of course rooms. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. "

"The hotel is conveniently located for reaching the major tourists spots. It's right on the canal, and our room had a lovely view. There are plenty of restaurants close by. The hotel is very quiet. There were nice robes. The sandals were handy for me but were too small for my husband. The room temperature was easily controllable. On the negative side, the room lighting was very inadequate. Similarly, there were no drawers for unpacking into. There was a small space for hanging clothes and 2 (but only 2) hooks for jackets. Next to the beds, there were small end-tables, but those didn't have any drawers either. Essentially, this is a place where you have to live out of your suitcase."

"The location of the Clayton was perfect for our first visit to beautiful Amsterdam. Tram from train station stops right in front. Hotel staff was wonderful from checking in to checkout. Our double room was clean and comfortable with two exceptions, bed was too soft and lighting to shave and do makeup was terrible. I hope they upgrade since we want to return soon! The breakfast buffet was very delicious and plentiful."

"This was our second stay at the NH Collection Flower Marker Amsterdam and we couldn’t be more delighted. The staff were very accomodating on check in and our Junior Suite provided the space and facilities we needed to recover from a long flight. The location is very convenient with close access to public transport to get around the city. Will definitely book here again on our next visit to Amsterdam."

"Staff were very friendly. They were unable to give good suggestions for the area regarding food options accommodating food sensitivities. The room was less than adequate with showering being a big problem - low to almost nonexistent water pressure - seemingly competing with other rooms for water pressure. The bathtub was non-operational. Got some excuse regarding the timing of the problem but when we booked it was advertised as having a functioning tub! No accommodation given for the tub problem."
