It was the worst hotel we ever been and we have been to 31 countries so far! The room was extremely tiny, the bed was extremely tiny and uncomfortable and dirty! This should have been a 2 star hotel and I don’t know how it’s a 4 star hotel. They would not give us any water bottle the staff were super unfriendly and mean. Just do NOT stay here what a waste of our money and experience in Amsterdam!

Friendly staff, extremely helpful reception staff. I'd highly recommend this hotel, it was a great location in easy reach of the museums and transport links. Lovely room with ensuite, albeit small the bed was super comfortable and the tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridge and TV made the stay a relaxing experience. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Close to Van Gogh museum and Rijksmuseum. Lovely local restaurants and cafes. Walkable to canals and paddling boats. Only 20-30mins to the main Dam Square and other sightseeing. Delicious breakfast. Helpful staff.

Staff were amazing and super helpful. They made communication easy via the mobile app. Bathrooms were a little tight on space, but was very nice room and had recently been remodeled.

The Museumhotel is convenient to both Centraal and Museum districts—as well as Vondelpark—and we even walked to RAI easily enough. The rooms are smaller by American standards, but Americans traveling to Europe should expect smaller lodgings, generally, and the appointments of the rooms are quite nice: layout, lighting, furniture, AC and bathrooms are nicely done for small spaces. Nothing felt cheap. Staff were very pleasant, and the bar was a great place to spend time in the evenings for coffee or drinks. Sound did carry a little more than expected between rooms, but no sleep was lost due to noise. We would happily stay there again.

Great location and attentive staff. Quiet room. Not a problem but expect to carry luggage up stairs from sidewalk to lobby. Elevator walls dirty. First room smelled like sewage. Got a new room. Curtains with stains. Comforter with stains. Mini fridge with prior users red juice stains. Housekeeping came and cleaned it with water/rag. No disinfectant. Counter top still sticky, wasnt cleaned. Showers doors flood water all over the bathroom floor. Wouldnt pick this again.

There were nights where the AC wasn’t working to its full potential. It was very inconvenient as the days we stayed were the days where the temperatures were really high. While the hotel couldn’t do anything about it (and I understand that), that changed how I enjoyed my stay. Also, the hotel did make accommodations by giving us breakfast vouchers.
