Amazing location. Incredible breakfast. Lobby welcoming with infused waters and fresh fruit. Only gripe is the room was tiny but we didn't come to Amsterdam to linger there and it was more than comfortable and modern.
Nice rooms, air conditioned with contemporary interiors, in a century old building with lovely character, small reception adjacent to the coffee bar and small informal restaurant. Best of all are the staff who are friendly, well trained and always helpful. Special shutout to Inbar and Ella at the reception desk on my latest 3-night stay.
The hotel was very central- right next door to the Rijksmuseum.
Staff friendly and helpful
Breakfast buffet style with good selection Room was clean and quiet but very small
The hotel has a great location and is not far from the city center, which was very convenient.
Unfortunately, the rooms are quite small and cramped. We also had ants in our room during our stay. The staff told us that the issue had been taken care of, but unfortunately, this was not actually the case.
Apart from that, everything was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we had a lovely time in Amsterdam overall.
The room was clean and well maintained. The desk staff were all helpful accommodating and genuinely nice. I didn't choose the breakfast.
I appreciated having an elevator in the building. The stairs to the entrance were steep and sometimes difficult to access due to smokers congregating there to sit and be in the shade or out of rain. I would recommend having a 10 meter clearance to keep smokers away from area. It's unpleasant to pass through when stepping out for fresh air..
Booked the deluxe room for a 5 night stay.
PROS: on the border to central Amsterdam - walkable & near Museum Quarter, <3 min walk to RIJKS!
Friendly Staff, Clean Lobby, 5 min walk to Bus 397 - express bus to Schipol Airport
Comfy Bed, subpar pillows
Strong Flow of Shower head
Good AC - just needs some time to cool
-bfast avail for a fee - not sure about quality, it was 25euros plus, we opted out
CONS: small room (as expected in Amsterdam), good for solo travel, tight squeeze for a couple unless you would like to tetris your lugggage
Can hear people in hallway & in their room
Small Restroom - sink too congested and water gets everywhere when washing face, shower water at times gets out of the shower
Cant fully open restroom door or hotel door if your belongings are in the way (small room like i said)
Elevator takes a min to hop onto as there is only one
Overal average 7/10, not the best nor the worst. If you just care about a bed to sleep on, go for it.
We loved our stay at Leonardo hotel! The location was great, not in the busy/noisy dam square area. It’s in the museum district so you have tons of great cafe’s and shopping around. The front staff was great about answering my question from transportation to recommendations for breakfast. The only thing is you have to request the room to be cleaned everyday online, which is fine but just another thing to do. Staff was great about letting us keep our luggage until time for check in. The property is also very beautiful from the outside. Highly recommend this place!
Great location, staff is great, rooms are tiny, showers floods the tiny bathroom, great breakfast. Overall a good choice if you don’t spend a lot of time in the room
The room was clean and located in a great area. The rooms where the typical small space but if you plan to be out and about it works out great. Easy to get everywhere and quiet at night. Air conditioner worked great too.
