The breakfast area gets very crowded, especially with foreign tourists, so it often felt more comfortable to bring food back to the room rather than eat in the dining area. Additionally, the rooms are quite small compared to typical American hotel standards, which may be a consideration if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage or prefer more space.
