"Our stay at Hurtwood Hotel was great! Welcoming staff and excellent service! Lovely old Hotel with real character and charm. Our room at the top of the Hotel was quiet, clean, very comfortable, lovely views, great shower …. One of the best we have had in a hotel! Good coffee, tea etc and great king size bed! Breakfast was really good! and part of the price of staying which was a bargain ! The hotel is tucked away in a cute little village and very scenic… would look lovely in summer! For us it was a really good find and we would highly recommend! "

"Rooms were ok, carpet and tv needs updated. Restaurant could be a lot better, served uncooked and raw fish and over seasoned breakfast. Lovely grounds and plenty of places to walk "

"It’s all about the location with this property! Couldn’t be more plumb centre to everything. Inside, the property had all the necessary things to make it a home from home. Lovely and clean and quirky, we really enjoyed our stay. Only minor irk was the parking, would have been absolutely perfect if there was a space, but not a major problem."

"Top quality food. Steak & Ale pie to die for and excellent fish & chips. Great breakfast with quality produce. Brilliant selection of ales. Old fashioned English Inn with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Tidy room with a modern en-suite shower room. Bed not to our liking but that's very much a personal choice. In a very quiet location with no shops nearby but would recommend for an overnight stay."
