There was no balcony with our unit and the door opened directly into the open air which was terribly unsafe; a crack in the door patched with duct tape. Could have used more blankets as well. "Hilton Schiphol was beyond our(my wife & I) expectations. We took advantage of an early check-in ($100.00), but that included a $70.00 delicious breakfast buffet for two. The bedroom was clean, modern and included the most comfortable bed we have slept in a long time. We also took advantage of the whirlpool (could have been warmer), steam room and sauna. The convenience of being able to catch trains and walk to our departing flight right from hotel was also wonderful. A great hotel stay experience!"
