There is nothing that I can fault this hotel for. I had a wonderful stay here. What an excellent price I got also. I was also lucky enough to be upgraded to a deluxe cottage. A marvelous hotel. The best choice hotel in this area. The swimming pool was just amazing. The breakfasts did not lack for anything. The service was great. I loved this hotel. What a wonderful restaurant with spectacular views. The staff go out of their way to please. This is a nice area if you want a break but something...

Stayed here for 8 nights and really enjoyed it. The location is perfect for getting away from it all as very secluded but also has the option of a small village within a 10 minute walk should you wish to venture out. Facilities are excellent, clean and well maintained. What really makes this such a great place is the staff, they simply can't do enough to help and make you feel very welcome and special

Fabulous hotel with great rooms, staff and facilities. Infinity pool on the beach was great and the films on the beach event better - they even had a 'love' sign in letters!! Room was huge and nicely done. Breakfast selection was good. Koh Phangan is quite spread out so whilst you needed Taxi's everywhere, it was 100 baht each person. I wouldn't say the hotel is cut off though. Hotel helped us do day trips and ferry transfers. Fisherman's, ODT and Santorini restaurant at sunrise beach were all...

I found Milky Bay Resort purely from reading the reviews and I wasn’t disappointed at all. The hotel staff welcomed me with open arms from the moment I arrived and made me feel special and relaxed and were so polite and courteous throughout my stay. The hotel is situated right on the beach in a beautiful & tranquil setting and the views of the ocean and surrounding islands are amazing. I booked a superior room and each morning sat on my terrace/balcony and just gazed at the beach and ocean which...

We had a great time here. Although there was a light snag when checking in as they couldn't find our booking and they were fully booked! Luckily they actually upgraded our room to fit us in. They actually only take a minimum booking of four days so be aware of that. Great once we were in our room.

This is a magical place that really lets you escape and unwind. The setting is one of the most dramatic I've experienced (only topped by Sugar Beach in St Lucia) - the villas and communal buildings dotted on a steep jungle mountainside that drops down to a secluded fine sandy beach. When you combine the Four Seasons perfectionism with the innate kindness and warmth of the Thai people, the service is as good as it gets. The villas are private and large with great character. It seems that...

We stayed for 11 days in a sea view villa April 2016 for my sons wedding . Really good hotel, facilities and grounds are very well thought out and the staff were always very welcoming, with excellent service. Very relaxing place to be and they make it easy, helped by spacious layout of things like sunbeds and the large very nice pool facilities and beach facilities/ activiites. Very good standard of food in 2 restaurants (not cheap though) and we looked forward to their comprehensive breakfast...

I had a lovely relaxing time at the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff made for an enjoyable time. Lovely room and pool with the beach close by.
A large spread was available for breakfast. A very nice start to the day.
Occasionally I found a staff member that could not grasp what I was asking in English.
I treated myself to a manicure at the Zense Spa. I regretted my choice as I could have done a much better job with a pair of nail clippers.

Our family of three (husband, myself and 7 year old daughter), have just returned from an almost two week stay at Kimpton Kitalay. We had an incredible time at the hotel. The room was clean, spacious and we loved the nightly treats whether it ’s a face mask or toffees. There is always an attendant in your block of rooms if you need extra towels or a quick refresh. We made so much use of the balcony, such relaxing couches to read and wind down in peace. The breakfast buffets were excellent, the...

Our stay at the Holiday Inn surpassed all expectations. The hotel is lovely, and I would recommend booking a playground or pool view room as some of the other rooms overlook the car park, and these other ones are much nicer and quieter.
We finally got our kids (who usually refuse any kids clubs) to actually ask to go into the kids club multiple times. It's excellent and the staff in there are great with the kids. Parents can also sit inside or just outside (it has huge windows) so you don't...

Beautiful hotel with great service, but a couple of things to know.
Built into the hillside which gives incredible views. But means a lot of steps and very steep slopes.
Away from the resorts which is nice and peaceful. But does mean you need to get the shuttle if you want to go out. The shuttle is fine, runs hourly and takes ten minutes to get to the beach so very easy. There is also an excellent private limousine service run by the hotel which costs under £10 to get to most places...

Honestly would recommend this place so spacious exceptionally clean we loved it. It is out the way which we liked and it’s so easy cheap to get taxis.
Staff can’t do enough for you my son is coeliac and they brought gluten free items for breakfast they accommodated us so well.
Kids loved the room space and pool, it’s much bigger than a normal villa my youngest loved the cinema room.
We even met the owners who were so down to earth and we can’t wait to go back.
I would highly recommend if...
